I get this question often. It is usually followed by "...for, from my abdomen/hips/butt/tricep fat "... and so on.
Regardless of what you're looking for performance, this question is unanswerable in its current form.
There are exercises that work very well for some groups of muscles and models of various forms of movement, posture, cardiorespiratory training, etc. So that while trying to establish a "Supreme exercise" is futile task, I will look for the criterion of how I define "Great pursuit"
One which includes large, combined, multi-joint movements, which requires a certain degree of coordination and integration to run.
For arguments sake if I can only choose 3 exercises, which had to be made for the rest of my life, they will be ... DeadliftsPull-UPSWind Sprint intervals (90-100% intensity-Tabata style)
By definition, the above working large amounts of muscle groups, requires a high degree of integration and includes many high intensity cardio. Deadlifts -have been rear chain exercise-work of the muscles of the back of the legs, butt, lower back and requires a serious amount of stabilisation in the nucleus and the fight to a neutral spine. Pull-ups -I admit that I love them. Everything must be bar and you have close perfectly LAT/PEC/filter (mid/low) and a significant quantity of stabilisation in the nucleus and girdle. Wind sprints -I love affairs and near the Max efforts are a fantastic way to encourage fitness in a hurry. Construction of these bad boys, however.
What 3 exercises will do if you can only choose 3?
